We are super thrilled to share our original creation, the Superstraccia, has won a Great Taste award by the lovely team at Guild of Fine Food!
We’d like to take a moment to reflect and share gratitude. It’s been a year and a bit since we brought our collection 01 to life, and three years in the making.
Building a food brand from scratch is definitely a journey with generous amounts of ups and downs, surprises, challenges as well as celebrations. This is one of those moments we will remember as this award is not due to luck or chance but due to the relentless pursuit of quality we’ve had since day one as well as the hard work everyone in the team has put in. Behind the lovely recipes there is about 25 of us figuring out mountains of dilemmas each day, from Brexit related supply issues, to equipment breakdowns, retailer negotiations, design decisions and a hundred other moving pieces.
What makes it super worth it is 1) Seeing the product being enjoyed by our community (like really, really enjoyed) and 2) Getting the recognition for the high level of detail we put into each decision, with the ultimate goal of creating products we genuinely love (and hope you do too).
We have a little saying in the team that goes like this: ‘Whatever you do in life, do it with taste’. - And I think we are on the right track.
