SUPERSTRACCIA® SAN MARZANO TOMATOES
San Marzono Tomato Recipe
Ingredients
- San Marzano Tomatoes
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Superstraccia®
- Salt & Pepper
Method
- Slice San Marzano tomatoes in half, place on a baking try, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and a season with salt and pepper .
- Place into the oven and bake for around 20 minutes at 200c.
- Prepare the base with a generous amount of Superstraccia®, delicately spooned onto a plate.
- Remove your San Marzano tomatoes from the oven, plate the juicy tomatoes on top of the Superstraccia® and drizzle with the umami rich oil from the baking tray.
- Serve alongside your favourite sourdough bread.
- Enjoy!
Field Notes
A quick, simple yet indulgent recipe, perfect for any occasion, especially if you are entertaining guests! San Marzano tomatoes are in full season now and the olive oil has so much depth. You could also add a bit of crushed chillies if you like the heat.
